Programs
Milltown Soccer sponsors four categories of soccer:
Kick & Chase
- Introductory program for kindergarten & 1st grade
- Teams are coed & there are separate K & 1st grade groups
- Mon & Wed, 4 weeks from September 13 through October 6th, 2010. 1/2 hour practice,1/2 hour game
Rec Soccer
- Gender based teams for each age group (2nd-8th)
- One weeknight game and the rest Saturday games, mid August practices
- Best efforts to form fair teams by coach request and school (but of course there are no firm guarantees.)
High School Rec
- A coed, recreational program but for High School
- (1) Weeknight and Saturday games
- Round Robin Tournament, the 1st weekend of November, which includes 1 weeknight, 1 Saturday and probably 1 Sunday games
- Social, with a good soccer workout
Top Soccer
- National Soccer program developed for kids with special needs.
- Teams formed based on abilities
- We have balls with bells in them, larger size balls upto 40 inches in size and other equipment
- Games can be indoor or outdoor
Indoor Soccer
Needed Supplies
Players (above Kick & Chase) will need the following items for practices & games:
- Soccer Ball - Labeled with name & telephone #; Size #3 for K-2nd; #4 for 3rd thru 6th, and Size #5 for 7th & above.
- Shoes & Shin Guards - rubber cleats, shin guards (rigid recommended) - keep an eye out for more info from Milltown regarding a Shoe Exchange
- Water Bottle - Full & labeled with name
- Game Uniforms - Jersey (shirt only) is included in the registration fee. Families should provide shorts (black preferred) and soccer socks (black preferred).
